FAQ

  • We have three programs for mentors to consider - community-based, school-based and MentorU.

In the community-based program, you arrange a time with your Little’s parent/guardian to meet weekly or a few times a month and do things in the community together.

In the school-based program, you have lunch with your Little weekly, during the school year, at their elementary or middle school.

In the MentorU program, you’re matched with a High Schooler who’s working with BBBS staff, weekly, on academic planning and career readiness. You communiate via text, messaging or email and once a month during the school year, you’ll gather as a large group over lunch where you’ll bring what you’ve learned, to life through facilitated programming.
