A letter to a Sheboygan Big Sister from her Little Sister

[Big Sister},

I had such a good summer!  I appreciate you so much.  I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t a part of my life because you have restored faith in me so many times.  Meeting you has been the miracle of my life.  I think you are my angel.  I don’t tell you enough how grateful I am.  We’re so different that way.  I never say how I feel.  Things are easier in writing for me but I mean well!  I’m really going to miss you.  I’m so glad you’re only a call away.  I’m sure I’ll make it the semester because of your encouragement.  Words can’t describe what your friendship means to me.  You’re not only my Big Sister but you’re my shoulder to lean on and my true best friend.  I love you.  I never tell you that but I do.  It’s hard for me to say that because it seems everyone I love hurts me.  Thanks for your support and for being you.

I got really lucky getting you as my Big Sister.  No one in the world can compare to you.  You’re one of the nicest and most cheerful people I know.  You make me a better person.  When I was little I thought you could read my mind.  I don’t know, it’s weird, but I thought you could.  So I never had bad or mean thoughts when I was around you.  HaHa!  I hope to have so many more wonderful memories with you.  I know we will.  I’m going on and on but I just hope you realize the impact you have made on me.  Big Brothers Big Sisters is the best program ever invented!  I’m grateful to them too!  Having a rough life was hard but I wouldn’t change it.  It made me tough and led you to me, and your mom to me, your whole family!  So thanks!
